‘Twas the night before football, when all through the Hill,
All the players were anxious, from Barth to McGill.
A parade had been planned down in Raleigh with care,
In hopes that the Gator Bowl soon would be there.
The Devils were nestled all snug in their tents,
As visions of basketball kept them content.
