Recruits not always won over

It's a standard throwaway line when it comes to rivalry football games such as North Carolina vs. N.C. State. The game is almost always deemed to have a huge impact on in-state recruiting. The only problem with the statement is that neither head coach buys it. "There are probably 20 things that go into a player's decision why they go to a school," Butch Davis said Monday. "Who wins and who loses the game might not be in the top 10." (Greensboro News-Record)

  • Excellent and comprehensive addition to the Heels' NetWorld Offerings. Really appreciated by one such as me who lives beyond the "info line" here in the Charleston area, we get drips and dribbles but you give us the big, complete overview. Greatly appreciated. A must-be Bookmarked! Thank you.
