Butch Davis has reeled in his second consecutive strong recruiting class for the Tar Heel football team. And although there were only 17 signees due to scholarship limitations, over half of the signees (9) are rated four stars (out of five) by Scout.com.

If Butch doesn't have a better record to go along with this average recruiting class then UNC fumbled the ball again choosing its head coach. I thought he did a sorry coaching job last year considering what Bunting left him. Thank God we had a decent quarterback. You can tell he is letting others make the game decisions by how little he talks back into his microphone during a game and no hands on approach to his players during the game (like Spurrier.) Steve runs the game -not his assistants.

I dont think this year will be any better than the last, knowing the interworking of the football program VERY VERY well, if it stays the way it was as Hilton(Butch's real name) first year you can expect North Carolina to remain the laughing stock of the ACC. And trust I doubt that is going to change. The priorities of the program are not in order. as in Hilton's words, "if you wanted to go to school for academics, you should have gone to Harvard, football is the main priority, nothing else". THat shows you how much he really cares about his players.
