Pack nets in-state stars; UNC goes national

N.C. State dominated in-state recruiting and North Carolina showed national clout Wednesday on the national letter-of-intent signing day. The Tar Heels, whose small class was ranked No. 30 by Scout.com, generated some national attention with last-day additions of four uncommitted four-star players, including former Kinston star Quinton Coples, a defensive end who played at Hargrave Military last fall.
