Alex Stepheson feeling right at home

Alex Stepheson came a long way to play basketball at UNC, roughly 2,200 miles from his home in Los Angeles. The 6-foot-9 sophomore also came a long way on the court last weekend, improving his game by miles in two NCAA Tournament victories. Stepheson shed his gentle off-court demeanor, showed an attack mentality and, along with Deon Thompson, helped give top-seeded UNC much-needed production at power forward. (Raleigh News & Observer)
