Cougars' road gets rougher

Kyle Weaver, informed that Washington State is "only" a 7 1/2 -point underdog to top-ranked North Carolina, was quick and to the point with his response. "Only?" Weaver asked with a stoic expression. Weaver, fellow senior Derrick Low and coach Tony Bennett all spoke with respect for the Tar Heels on Monday, but nothing remotely resembling awe. The teams square off Thursday in Charlotte, N.C., in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament. (The Olympian)
