No escape from Tar Heel blue even in Pullman

Kyle Weaver was back Monday on the Washington State campus, where basketball sovereignty was not solely his. A two-game sweep of Winthrop and Notre Dame in the East Regionals last week in Denver not only earned the Cougars their first Sweet 16 appearance, but also a crack at No. 1 North Carolina on Thursday at the Uptown Arena in Charlotte, N.C. There, they expect to be drowned out by an army of fans clad in North Carolina blue. But in Pullman – this? (Tacoma News Tribune)
