Balmer did not blossom until last season under Butch Davis' coaching staff. He is powerful at 6 feet 4 1/2, 308 pounds, a tackle who would move to end in the Steelers' 3-4 scheme. Campbell was the opposite; he had a great season in 2006 and fell way off last year as a junior. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
