Fronk, No. 2 Tar Heels Take Series From No. 14 Miami, 9-6


Third baseman Reid Fronk homered twice and drove in four runs Sunday to lead No. 2 North Carolina to a 9-6 win and a series victory over No. 14 Miami at Mark Light Field. Winners of back-to-back series against top-15 opponents, the Tar Heels (27-7, 9-6 ACC) matched a season-high with four home runs en route to a tie with the Hurricanes (24-12, 9-6 ACC) atop the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division standings.
