HE HATES SO GOOD

"To Hate Like This" reads like a refined "Amongst the Thugs," New Yorker editor Bill Buford's book about football hooligans. While there's not much violence, the passion is even more heartfelt. It's a screed supporting the purity of good, healthy, all-American loathing. Plus, it's an animosity the whole family can share. Blythe makes you want to scream from the sidelines as you're reading. And while his hate is contagious, the obvious affection behind it remains. (New York Post)
