UNC posted its third straight trip to the College World Series and its third consecutive top-three finish. The Tar Heels made their seventh trip to Omaha and joined Florida State as the only teams to reach three straight CWS as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Carolina is 11-7 in Omaha over the last three years.
