Mason puts Cherry on top

The Tar Heels went to two Final Fours (1991 and '93) and won the national championship the second time around during Scott Cherry's career. The 34-year-old Cherry says that what he teaches his players is rooted deeply in Smith's philosophy, both on and off the court. "It all starts with defense," Cherry said. (Chapel Hill News)
