GO HEEEELS!

More than 120 students, alumni and children — sitting on shoulders to see over the crowd — cheered outside Woolen Gym Friday for the UNC basketball team. That’s the women’s UNC basketball team. “I came to give our girls a proper send-off,” said Jeanne Barbour, 69, who attended the university in ’56 and ’57. “I cheer as much for the girls as I do for the guys. They both work just as hard and need just as much credit.” (Chapel Hill News)
