Vandy gets little homecourt help

Vanderbilt had the home court and the home crowd last night. To say North Carolina didn't care wouldn't be accurate, but neither factor made much of a difference when all was said and done. The top-ranked and top-seeded Tar Heels advanced into the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament's Cleveland Region with a convincing 89-70 win over eighth-seeded Vanderbilt before a Memorial Gym crowd of 5,051.
