Jay Cox hit four homers, scored eight times and knocked home 10 runs to lead the Tar Heel baseball team to a 4-1 record last week and earn Tar Heel Performer of the Week honors for March 13-19, 2006. Cox , a junior from Smithfield, hit .409 on the week, while slugging a perfect 1.000 with 22 total bases. (Tar Heel Blue)
