Tar Heels open defense against Murray State

As the 12 players in baby blue uniforms ran out of the tunnel and onto the court Thursday afternoon, Marcus Ginyard began backpedaling. He whispered something to North Carolina teammate Danny Green, prompting the fellow freshman to crack a quick smile.
