No. 3 Diamond Heels Fall To No. 30 Wake Forest, 6-5

Second baseman Bryan Steed had three hits, and three different Tar Heels hit home runs, but No. 30 Wake Forest scored the go-ahead run on a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth inning to take a 6-5 victory over No. 3 North Carolina in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams Friday.
