North Carolina women win ACC title


The gold scissors used to clip the nets after North Carolina’s 1994 NCAA championship sat unused in one of Sylvia Hatchell’s desk drawers for 11 years. They came back out a year ago when the Tar Heels won the ACC Women’s Tournament title. And the Heels brandished the scissors again Sunday to do some more handiwork on the nets at the Greensboro Coliseum. (Greensboro News & Record)
