Review: Happy In A Land Of Hate

In exploring the basis for his own hatred of Duke and love of Carolina, the author goes everywhere from his mother's house to inner city Baltimore to the home of Crazy Towel Guy. (Who is, much to Blythe's dismay, a nice guy.) Since the book was excerpted in Sports Illustrated over a year ago (the excerpt was actually the book's proposal) Blythe has played catch-up, trying to research, report, and write a book while Tar Heel fans waited anxiously.
