Unlike Art Chansky's recent book about the rivalry, "Blue Blood," Blythe's book is not a historical record of UNC vs. Duke. Blythe isn't a sportswriter, and doesn't care to live the life of one full time. Instead, the book looks at the rivalry's human side, and at the vested interest by the Blythe family in Carolina basketball as a whole, and in its rivalry with Duke in particular. It's something many families across the Southeast can identify with.
