Three and a half months ago, David Noel had to hit a game- winning 3-pointer to push unranked North Carolina past Gardner-Webb. That he scored a career-high 26 points Wednesday in a 99-54 blowout against Virginia showed just how far he has led his 13th-ranked team. (Raleigh News & Observer)
