Roy Williams says his aching back must improve before golf begins


Coach of North Carolina is at least uncomfortable during every game and practice because of a lingering back problem. Williams' back went out before a Dec. 7 game at home, and he had to coach against Saint Louis leaning against a bar stool. The problem has now affected the sciatic nerve and bothers him every day, although he said that the condition has improved. (Winston-Salem Journal)
