Hansbrough might have saved Quinn Snyder

In a span of several days, Missouri basketball coach Quin Snyder resigned, and North Carolina freshman center Tyler Hansbrough scored 40 points in a win over Georgia Tech. And the two events are connected. Hansbrough chose North Carolina over Mizzou after leading Poplar Bluff High School to two state championships. Hansbrough picked Carolina in large part because of uncertainty about Snyder and the turmoil in the Mizzou program. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
