‘Just say, we’re going to the Super Bowl!’

Sunday, Willie Parker will start at running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL. The reality of his accomplishment hit him this week as he prepared for the game in Detroit. Against the longest of odds, he really has made it. “I just woke up the other day and realized I am in the Super Bowl,” Parker said. “Knowing where I’ve been and where I come from, that’s just a great feeling.” (Fayetteville Observer)
