Bruce Carter signs with Tar Heels

Bruce Carter committed to play football at North Carolina way back on May 18. But that didn’t make Wednesday morning’s gathering of family, friends and coaches any less special for the Havelock senior. Carter signed on the dotted line and faxed off his national letter-of-intent to become the first member of his family to get the opportunity to go to college. (New Bern Sun Journal)
