(This is an older article, but it's still fairly relevant so we thought we'd post it.)
Mail once arrived at the University of Kansas men's basketball office addressed simply to "Roy, Lawrence, Kansas." The postmaster knew exactly where to send the letter. Here, too, the name "Roy" has become part of the popular lexicon, serving as headline shorthand for the third-year North Carolina head coach.
