Cavaliers knock off Heels

North Carolina couldn't protect a second-half lead or maintain its composure at critical points again last night and was beaten in its last appearance in University Hall. Upstart Virginia won 72-68 in front of 8,392 to hand North Carolina its second consecutive loss and first losing streak since March 12, 2004. (Winston-Salem Journal)
