Tar Heels' kids are doing the darndest things

The Heels' freshmen are learning to play defense with intensity and intelligence more consistently. They shut down the Wolfpack for the final four minutes Saturday. But one game earlier, coach Roy Williams was perturbed by his team's egregious mental lapses against Davidson. Maintaining their passion for defense from one game to the next in the ACC could be a challenge. (Greensboro News & Record)
