Michigan's Ball Screens Prove Problematic For North Carolina

Given its offensive deficiencies, No. 6 North Carolina needed to rely on its defense to lock down Michigan and create transition opportunities in the Battle 4 Atlantis semifinals. The Tar Heels were effective in turning 16 turnovers into 21 points, although that was not nearly enough to overcome the Wolverines’ pick-and-roll game as the Tar Heels fell 73-64.
