Tar Heels must resolve to change

Whatever troubles North Carolina encountered against Gardner-Webb in their season-opener, the Tar Heels far surpassed those in the second half against the Trojans. Carolina took bad shots, turned the ball over and, as Miller pointed out, lost its poise. "It was a total breakdown for us on both ends of the court," Williams said. To avoid a repeat of this collapse, the Tar Heels need to enact several New Year's resolutions. (Chapel Hill News)
