Center of their world: UNC next stop for Stepheson

Alex Stepheson stood at a podium in front of more than 100 classmates at Harvard-Westlake of Studio City and announced that the next stop on his basketball journey would be the University of North Carolina. As Stepheson announced his choice, his coach Greg Hilliard couldn't help remember Stepheson as a seventh-grader. Back then, it was hard to imagine Stepheson one day playing for a program that has produced stars such as Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Vince Carter and Rasheed Wallace.
