Money game: State's ACC schools see basketball as a slam dunk for revenue


Comparing athletic department budgets can be difficult because schools keep track of their books in different ways. But it's clear that UNC and N.C. State are generating plenty of cash from their hoops teams -- cash that is sorely needed to help support other sports. At both UNC and N.C. State, men's basketball and football are the only sports that generate more revenue than expenses. (Triad Business Journal)
