Peppers pardons Crumpler for block

Carolina coach John Fox cried foul Wednesday over low blocks by the Falcons, like the one last Sunday that sent Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers temporarily out of the game. Yet Peppers told Atlanta tight end Alge Crumpler, who made the block, that "everything's cool." Both Carolina ends, Mike Rucker and Peppers, were injured in a win over Atlanta. Peppers, Crumpler's college teammate at North Carolina, returned and had a sack. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
