No Cunningham or Brown played for the Tar Heels, no Cotton Nash wore Kentucky blue. But Roy's holdovers and up-and-comers beat the Wildcats at their own game, just as Smith's team had 43 years before, by heeding their coach's orders, playing with confidence and shutting out the crowd.
