Measure of revenge

As Roy Williams left the Smith Center floor, his jog carried a bit of a spirited spring. Yet as Williams entered the tunnel, he couldn’t help but let out an exhausted exhale. An encouraging yet gut-wrenching loss will do that to a coach. And on Tuesday night, Williams and his Tar Heels experienced just that, falling 68-64 to No. 12 Illinois in the marquee matchup of this year’s ACC-Big Ten Challenge. (Fayetteville Observer)
