Rebuilding the Heels' morale

The Tar Heels were more competitive than expected -- beating two ranked teams (No. 23 Virginia and No. 19 Boston College) and coming within striking distance of two others (No. 17 Georgia Tech and No. 6 Miami). The Tar Heels also won at rival N.C. State. Yet it was a season defined by drops, inches, injuries and inconsistency -- all of which must be addressed if Carolina is to win its first ACC title since 1980. (Raleigh News & Observer)
