Tar Heels end season on sour note with 30-3 loss to Va. Tech


North Carolina's season finale against No. 5 Virginia Tech played out in a fashion very similar to the way the year started for the Tar Heels -- as one major missed opportunity. After a solid defensive effort and flashes of offensive efficiency that created just a three-point halftime deficit, the Tar Heels fell apart in the second half and cleared the way for Virginia Tech's 30-3 route at Lane Stadium.
