North Carolina’s winning streak came to an end at Cameron Indoor Stadium as No. 12 Duke pulled away late to hand the Tar Heels an 89-76 loss on Saturday. Garrison Brooks (26 points, 13 rebounds) matched ACC Player of the Year frontrunner Vernon Carey Jr. (25 points, 10 rebounds) shot for shot as both big men turned in impressive performances.
