Women's Soccer Falls In Penalty Kicks In NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal


North Carolina failed in its bid to return to the NCAA College Cup in 2005 as seventh-ranked Florida State won a penalty kick shootout 5-4 over the Tar Heels after the teams played to a 1-1 tie after regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods. (Tar Heel Blue)
