UNC players will spend Thanksgiving together
Posted Nov 23, 2005
They won't be with their relatives, but they will be with family. Such is Thanksgiving 2005 for North Carolina's football players. With the Tar Heels wrapping up their regular season Saturday at Virginia Tech, Coach John Bunting is trying to mix fellowship with preparation. UNC will leave Chapel Hill after practice Thursday morning and head to Greensboro for a Thanksgiving meal. The Tar Heels will continue on to Roanoke, Va., later that night and have their pregame meetings there Friday.
