North Carolina started its basketball season in a similar fashion to the way it ended the 2005 regular season. Other than being unranked in any significant Top 25 poll, the biggest difference for the Tar Heels was the subject of their dramatic, last-second wins. Back in March, Carolina used all its last-minute heroics to upend Duke. This time, the Tar Heels needed a shot near the buzzer to beat Gardner-Webb. (Chapel Hill News)
