St. Louis miles away in the past for Tar Heels

Basketball season started for the defending national champions Saturday night, and the fears of all who witnessed the opener were realized. North Carolina defeated Gardner Webb 83-80, and 19,781 people walked out of the Smith Center thinking the same thing. We're not in St. Louis anymore. (Greensboro News & Record)
