It’s been said before, but it’s worth saying again — North Carolina lost its top seven scorers from last season’s title-winning team. And with Gardner-Webb returning all five of its starters, Saturday’s game figures to be closer than a lot of Tar Heel fans might think. “If somebody calls and says, ‘Can we play you in your building?’, you ought to be worried,” said Coach Roy Williams after his team’s exhibition win against Catawba on Saturday.
