Bowl hopes are on the line
Posted Nov 11, 2005
Bunting’s squad needed to top Virginia and Boston College to keep its bowl hopes alive, and it succeeded in both cases. This time, though, UNC will face a team that is in an equally desperate predicament. The Terps also need to win two of their last three games to become bowl eligible, with the latter two against B.C. and N.C. State. Making matters worse for Tar Heel fans, Friedgen has dominated Bunting since both coaches joined their respective teams in 2001.
