Faithful Tar Heel fans walk gingerly into this season aware there is much lump-taking in store by opponents eager to exploit a Carolina down-tick. On the bright side, though, it also will be a season in which Ol’ Roy really gets to take out the teaching stick he sharpened all those years beside Dean Smith.
