Tyler Hansbrough was a schoolboy legend in Missouri, where he led Poplar Bluff High School to back-to-back state titles his junior and senior years. Opposing prep teams were unable to handle Hansbrough’s powerful style of play under the basket, and he routinely posted 25 and 30 point outings at the high school level on his way to breaking Poplar Bluff’s all-time scoring record.
