Karl Finds Bench Strength With Moe Taking Retro-Active Role

There are volumes of Karl and Moe stories from over the years. They have known each other for 35 years, since Moe would return to North Carolina as an ABA player during summers to battle Karl and others in pickup games. They developed a close relationship when Karl played for Moe with the Spurs from 1976-78 and served as Moe's San Antonio assistant from 1978-80. (Rocky Mountain News)
