Saturday's game critical for 2-3 UNC
Posted Oct 19, 2005
With a mere 11 games on the schedule, each one is vital in college football. This is particularly true for 2-3 Carolina this week when 4-2 Virginia comes to Kenan Stadium for a noon kickoff on Saturday. Win the game and the Tar Heels are halfway toward bowl eligibility with five games remaining. On the other hand, if UNC loses … well … who knows. Earning a winning record, much less a bowl bid, would become a monumental accomplishment with the quality of competition left on Carolina's schedule.
