Quartet Of UNC Baseball Signees Taken In MLB Draft

Four University of North Carolina baseball signees were selected in the first four rounds of the 2008 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft Thursday. Prep standouts Jason Knapp, Derrik Gibson, L.J. Hoes and Tim Melville, who each signed National Letters of Intent with the Tar Heels last fall, were chosen among the first 115 picks.
