Roy Williams enjoys day away from basketball
Thursday, September 29, 2005
Roy Williams signaled for a 30-second time-out before his first tee shot Wednesday at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro’s pro-am. A round of golf might have been exactly what the University of North Carolina men’s basketball coach needed. "I don’t feel that guilty," he said of staying away from recruiting for a day. "This is the only day I planned not to be out recruiting so I could be here." (Burlington Times News)
